The world is a huge place, full of billions of people sporting millions of different eating habits. So how can we say that the North American way of eating is superior to all others? We can't. In fact, it seems a bit ironic, but many of the countries obsessing over healthy eating are the ones that are encountering the highest instances of obesity.

Within each culture there exist unique eating customs. Therefore, the way North Americans are eating doesn't necessitate the way that everyone else has to eat. So, to say there is only one absolute way of eating comprising a healthy diet is simply inaccurate.
