Lose Fat Quickly
If you want to lose fat quickly, you need to forget everything you know about traditional weight loss, including long, slow cardio workouts, high-carbohydrate foods, and Hollywood crash diets. Those will not help you burn fat fast.
If you want to lose 7-10 pounds in one week, or 20-30 pounds in a month, there are 3 things you must do.
1)Cut calories and carbohydrates
2)Boost your metabolism with high-intensity exercise
3)Burn calories with bodyweight exercises
Let’s start by looking at your diet. If you are eating bread, pasta, sugar, juices, breakfast cereals, and muffins, then you are keeping your weight high and you’ll never lose fat quickly. Eating so many carbohydrates essentially plugs up your fat burning stream, so that no matter how well you do with your calorie burning workouts, your diet is just never going to let you lose fat.

Eating a lot of carbohydrate increases the levels of a hormone in your blood called insulin. Insulin helps your body store fat and sugar, but it doesn’t help your body lose fat quickly. So you want to do everything you can to keep your insulin levels low. But again, eating carbohydrate shoots your insulin levels up to the sky.
Start replacing your regular carbohydrate intake with fruits and vegetables. You might have heard that fruit makes you fat, but ignore that. Those people don’t know what they are talking about. Fruit doesn’t skyrocket your insulin levels, and it contains fewer calories than most other carbohydrates, and it also has a lot of fiber to fill you up.
Aim for 5 servings of fruit and at least 5 servings of fiber-rich vegetables everyday. Don’t add butter, oil, cheese, or high-fat dips to your vegetables. Salsa is great for dipping vegetables and is low in calories.
By cutting your carbohydrates, you will lose fat quickly. You will also lose some water weight initially, but it is not ALL water weight. If you usually eat a lot of processed carbohydrates and sugar, most of the weight loss will be fat, because you will finally be opening up the fat burning stream and the fat will coming rush off of you.
Now let’s take a look at how you can boost that fat burning stream.
The first thing to do is to start using interval training to burn fat fast. Interval training is better than cardio if you want to lose fat quickly, especially if you want to lose belly fat. In fact, you can burn belly fat in half the time using research proven interval training.
All you need to do are 3 short workouts of 20 minutes of intervals per week. You don’t need 7 hours of cardio. You can find out more about how to do interval training in the Turbulence Training for fat loss workouts. And yes, even beginners can do interval training with my methods.
On the 3 of the days in the week where you don’t do interval training, you can do fat burning bodyweight circuits. Bodyweight circuits can be done at home with little or no equipment, and by combining the benefits of resistance training and interval training, these circuits will help you lose fat quickly.
Beginners can start with dozens of exercises that can be done lying down on a mat. I know it sounds crazy, but you can get an incredible workout just lying on the floor. See the beginner workouts in Turbulence Training for more details.
Advanced fitness folks can lose fat quickly by doing hundreds of bodyweight exercise variations on the normal squats, lunges, pushups, pull-ups, and total body ab exercises such as mountain climbers and stability ball exercises. It is a lot of fun to lose fat quickly by combining bodyweight circuits with interval training and a diet full of fruits and vegetables.
